FitZip.org is a San Antonio based non-profit organization committed to helping youth understand the value of living a healthy lifestyle. We believe that physical fitness is directly tied to mental and emotional well-being. Our goal is to teach youth healthy habits for life.
FITZIP designed EARN A BIKE program to engage middle school and high school students in our neighborhood and promote bicycling while learning a skill. We empower youth to lead healthy and productive lives. Our programs introduce youth to the joy and freedom of bicycle riding, while learning how to put together a bike, team work, life coaching and giving back to their community. In our workshop and out in the field our youth participants build confidence, critical thinking and life skills.
